Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a Hardware Reliability Engineer for the Mac System Reliability team in Cupertino, CA. You will lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure durable, reliable products from concept to field performance, and design innovative reliability tests to drive product improvements.

You will characterize usage patterns, translate them into lab tests, and coordinate design validation. The role requires deep knowledge of materials, devices, and physics, plus strong data analysis and

Qualifications

BS in technical field with 3+ years experience.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Ability to create clear slides and presentations using Keynote/Excel.

Responsibilities

Identify high-risk failure modes early in the design process and work with design teams to mitigate risks.
Create new reliability tests based on the physics of failure and user deployment environment.
Develop and deliver critical test equipment and specifications, and collaborate with vendors to meet deadlines.
Support failure analysis efforts and provide design recommendations based on test data.
