Job summary

Ulta Beauty, Inc. is seeking a Specialty Artist for the MAC brand to maximize sales through expert makeup artistry and personalized guest experiences. You will engage guests to assess needs, perform makeup applications, skincare analyses, and demonstrations, while maintaining store standards and brand image.

The role requires knowledge of MAC products, strong guest service, and the ability to manage in-store events and promotions. Flex schedule and ongoing brand trainings are expected.

Qualifications

• Cosmetics artistry experience preferred.
• Strong sales, products and service competency.
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed MAC brand sales and service goals and contribute to store goals.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships and follow up with guests.
• Provide exceptional service by greeting guests, personalizing service, offering samples and recommending products.
• Conduct makeup demonstrations, applications, skincare analyses, and product demonstrations to MAC and Ulta Beauty standards.
• Stay informed on promotions and brand initiatives and communicate to guests.
• Book appointments for services and in-store events to drive sales and guest experience.
• Stay informed on trends and ingredients to better serve guests.
• Maintain regular attendance.
