Job summary

Mollie in Maastricht seeks a technically proficient Technical Support Engineer focused on API integrations and plugins. You will be the definitive technical voice for customers and partners, ensuring Mollie products fit their setups and resolving complex issues across teams.

You’ll collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer teams to drive improvements and deliver internal training. English plus another language is required, and the role is based in Maastricht with a strong customer

Qualifications

• Proven analytical and effective problem-solving abilities in a technical support context.
• Proficiency with RESTful APIs and debugging with Postman.
• Basic familiarity with reading PHP code for troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Webshop technologies or prebuilt integrations (WooCommerce, Magento, Shopware).
• Excellent communication skills; distilling complex technical issues for diverse audiences.
• Fluency in English plus one other language (NL, FR, DE, ES, or PT).

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct technical support for custom API integrations and plugins through email and phone.
• Advise customers and partners on the best technical implementation of Mollie for their unique systems.
• Act as the primary point of contact and escalation for complex technical questions from internal teams (Sales, Customer Success, and Customer Support).
• Drive continuous improvement by providing SME feedback to enhance our technical products.
• Develop and deliver internal technical training and documentation to upskill other teams and departments.
• Prioritize tasks and make decisions based on urgency and stakeholder needs to resolve critical issues fast.
