Maarif School in New Jersey is seeking a caring Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our school team. The role includes administering medications, overseeing student health, and coordinating care with families and staff.

Primary responsibilities include emergency response, health documentation, immunization reviews, and promoting a safe school environment. Requires NJ RN license and experience with children; valid driver’s license preferred.

Maarif School is seeking a caring and dependable Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our school team.

Schedule:

3 days per week

Hours:

9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and oversight to students in accordance with physician orders, school policies, and applicable New Jersey regulations.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate first aid.
• Maintain accurate and confidential student health records.
• Review student immunization records and monitor compliance with New Jersey immunization requirements.
• Promote a safe and healthy school environment.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, administrators, and staff regarding student health needs and concerns.
• Assist with school health education and wellness initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with parents, school districts, community organizations, government agencies, students, supervisors, and staff.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey.
• Previous experience working with children; school nursing experience is preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and accurate health documentation.
• Valid driver's license.
