Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute is seeking a Laboratory Assistant/MA to support phlebotomy, testing, and routine lab operations across our Venice clinics. You will train new staff and ensure compliance with CLIA and COLA requirements.

Ideal candidates hold an AA/AS with Florida Technician License (LPN welcomed) and have hands-on experience in a clinical lab, with a valid Florida driver’s license and BLS certification. This role offers growth within a respected cancer care network.

Qualifications

• AA or AS degree with Florida Technician License; LPN diploma highly preferred.
• Proven working experience with CLIA and COLA may substitute for degree/diploma.
• Valid Florida driver's license required for travel to clinics. BLS certification within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform and train all new laboratory staff on laboratory aspects including phlebotomy, testing, quality control, instrument troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Must perform all job duties of MA and MAII.

RESPONSIBILITIES
