Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute is hiring a Medical Assistant for our Venice Pinebrook Office. You will assist physicians with procedures, perform phlebotomy, and support in laboratory tasks and quality control.

The role requires at least one year of MA experience, a Florida driver’s license for travel, a high school diploma or GED, and BLS certification within the first 30 days. We offer comprehensive benefits and a competitive salary package.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience as a medical assistant in a clinic or physician’s office with the ability to perform venipunctures preferred.
• Valid Florida driver’s license needed for travel to clinics.
• High school diploma or GED required and to be produced at time of hire.
• BLS certification required upon hire or within 30 days of employment (FCS provides BLS course within first 30 days).
