Job summary

Leoforce in Clinton, WA is seeking a Medical Assistant – Registered (MA-R) to join a collaborative primary care and walk-in clinic team. This role provides hands-on support to patients and healthcare practitioners while performing delegated duties within the WA scope and organization guidelines.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, dependable, detail‑oriented and comfortable in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program, or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of medical assistant experience in a clinic setting.
• Active Washington Medical Assistant Registration within 60 days of hire.
• Current BLS certification.
• MA-R endorsement submitted within 7 days of hire.
• Competencies (clinical/department) completed within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support to patients under supervision of licensed practitioners.
• Perform medical tasks within scope of MA endorsement.
• Maintain accurate medication and immunization records.
• Screen and follow up on test results as directed by practitioners.
• Perform diagnostic testing and electrocardiography.
• Complete waived laboratory testing per CLIA requirements.
• Administer vaccines and medications under orders and supervision.
• Support day-to-day patient care and clinic operations.
• Complete required department trainings and competencies.
• Maintain compliance with WA DOH requirements.
