Job summary

Rodman LLP d/b/a Rodman Employment Law in Needham, MA seeks a full-time attorney with 3–6 years of civil litigation experience. The role offers direct client contact, opportunities for written and oral advocacy, and training in Massachusetts civil litigation and employment law.

The successful candidate will be licensed in MA, possess a JD from an ABA-accredited school, and demonstrate strong research, writing, and organizational skills in a busy employment law and litigation practice.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school.
• License to practice law in Massachusetts.
• 3–6 years of experience practicing civil litigation; coursework and internships may substitute for experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Westlaw and common office software (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Draft letters, pleadings, motions, and other filings; communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, mediators, and experts.
• Engage in oral advocacy in court, mediation, and administrative proceedings.
• Conduct legal research and contribute to case strategy with partners and team members.
• Develop competency in employment law and civil litigation practice in Massachusetts.
• Collaborate with colleagues to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines.
