Job summary

Rodman Employment Law in Needham, MA seeks a full-time associate with 3–6 years of civil litigation experience to join its busy employment law and litigation practice. You will draft pleadings, conduct research, and interact with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.

The role offers direct exposure to case strategy and advocacy opportunities. Ideal candidates have a JD from an ABA-accredited school, MA licensure, and strong written and oral communication skills, with proficiency in Westlaw and

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an ABA-approved law school.
• Massachusetts licensure to practice law.
• 3–6 years of civil litigation experience or equivalent internships/coursework.
• On-site role in Needham, MA with strong research and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft letters, pleadings, motions, and court filings.
• Engage in client communications and liaise with opposing counsel and courts.
• Conduct legal research and prepare strategy with partners.
• Participate in case strategy sessions and document management.
• Support in oral advocacy in hearings, mediations, and administrative proceedings.
• Develop competence in employment law and civil litigation in MA.

Licensure: License to practice law in Massachusetts.

Experience: 3-6 years of experience practicing civil litigation. Course work and/or internships may substitute for experience.
