Project Overview
The purpose of this engagement is to obtain aqualified SharePoint Online Administrator to plan, design, administer,modernize, and optimize SharePoint Online sites, flows, and configurations. TheSharePoint Online Administrator will align SharePoint Online technicalcapabilities with business goals and objectives to provide a platform thatsupports exceptional customer service, efficient business processes,professional employees, innovative technology, and strategic partnerships.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Report to the Server Team Manager andwork within the Server Team.
- Collaborate with Server Team members,Business Unit Directors, Managers, and staff.
- Provide front-end SharePoint Onlinesupport to all end users.
- Collaborate with business units toimprove functionality, governance, user experience, advanced permissions,and operational efficiency.
- Design and develop intranet solutions,including custom layouts, workflows, and automation.
- Apply strong UI/UX design principles tocreate user-friendly and accessible interfaces.
- Deliver modern and scalable solutionsusing SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 tools.
- Work with cross-functional teams toautomate business processes.
- Ensure SharePoint solutions are secureand accessible.
- Enhance and optimize the SharePointOnline tenant as new Microsoft features become available and existingfeatures are deprecated.
- Promote SharePoint Online capabilitiesand help improve organizational understanding, adoption, functionality,and usage.
- Design, administer, and maintain sites,subsites, and links.
- Apply Microsoft Entra ID architecturebest practices to manage security groups, advanced settings, andpermissions.
- Configure SharePoint site permissions andstreamline Owner, Member, and Visitor roles.
- Perform site and content permissionaudits based on organizational requirements.
- Work with site owners to enhance thefunctionality of departmental SharePoint Online sites and subsites.
- Manage site layout structures, content,workflows, and automation.
- Provide SharePoint Online technical andfunctional support to end users.
- Provide SharePoint functionality trainingto the training department and end users.
- Review and monitor SharePoint usagereports.
- Perform site cleanup and remove unusedsites.
- Create and maintain detaileddocumentation of SharePoint Online services and settings.
- Create and maintain detaileddocumentation of SharePoint Online configuration and architecture.
- Provide regular updates to the ProjectTeam.
- Stay current with the Microsoft platformand functionality roadmap.
- Evaluate and incorporate relevant newMicrosoft capabilities as they become available.
- Manage site quotas and file-size limits.
- Collaborate with teams to conceptualizeand integrate other Microsoft 365 applications with SharePoint Online.
- Plan, organize, review, and implementassociated project milestones through completion.
- Create and maintain architecture diagramsand technology navigation maps.
- Configure and manage site collections,hubs, libraries, lists, and permissions.
- Implement and maintain SharePointgovernance standards.
- Define and maintain taxonomy, metadata,and content-management policies.
- Manage the complete SharePointenvironment lifecycle, including site provisioning, archival, anddecommissioning.
Requirements
Education and Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical orbusiness field. Years of experience may substitute for formal education.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience providingdevelopment support for SharePoint Online (Office 365), Microsoft 365hybrid infrastructure, Microsoft Windows, advanced permissions, andMicrosoft Entra ID.
- 5+ years of experience with SharePointFramework (SPFx) for customizing and integrating Microsoft 365applications.
- 5+ years of experience with front-enddesign, User Interface (UI), and User Experience (UX).
- 5+ years of experience implementingSharePoint roadmap enhancements and changes and developing technicalrunbooks.
- 5+ years of experience creating andmaintaining workflows and Power Automate configurations.
- Strong understanding of MicrosoftSharePoint Online best practices and technical documentation.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with data governance, datagovernance frameworks, data policy, and policy documentation.
- Advanced knowledge of business processes.
- Strong understanding of PowerShell.
- Microsoft Power Platform certifications;Microsoft 5 6 certifications.

- Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills for business and technical audiences at all levels ofthe organization.
