Koch Technology is seeking a Collaboration Solutions Engineer to lead Microsoft 365 migrations, tenant-to-tenant moves, and related strategies during mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. You will plan and execute transitions for users, data, and configurations while maintaining security, compliance, and a positive employee experience.

The role partners with business leaders to translate requirements into migration plans, supports complex modernization initiatives, and may require 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Experience administering, supporting, or migrating Microsoft 365 services.
• Working knowledge of the M365 product stack.
• Experience with tenant-to-tenant migration concepts, including identity mapping, coexistence, workload sequencing, data validation, cutover, and post-migration support.
• Ability to use or quickly learn migration platforms such as Quest On Demand Migration and native Microsoft cross-tenant migration capabilities.
• Experience using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, APIs, CSV-based data analysis, or similar methods for discovery, bulk changes, validation, reporting, and troubleshooting.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical decisions, risks, and status to both technical and business audiences.

Responsabilités

• Lead end-to-end Microsoft 365 discovery and technical due diligence conversations.
• Lead execution of Microsoft 365 migration solutions between tenants.
• Coordinate tenant-to-tenant migrations for Microsoft Entra ID identities, mailboxes, and SharePoint/Teams data.
• Plan identity matching, target-account provisioning, domain transfer activities, and mail flow adjustments.
• Ensure successful migration outcomes through pilot execution, cutovers, and post-migration stabilization.
• Partner with security, privacy, legal, and records teams to preserve retention and access controls.
• Create technical documentation, inventories, and operation handoffs.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing and end-user communications to minimize disruption.
• Identify repeatable processes and use PowerShell, Graph, APIs for automation and reporting.
