Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology seeks a Collaboration Service Delivery Lead (M365) to oversee enterprise M365 platforms in a fast-paced federal environment, guiding large, multi-location teams and ensuring security, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

The role requires ITIL foundations, 5+ years in cloud engineering, strong leadership and communication, and the ability to translate business needs into technical designs while coordinating across offices in Arlington, VA and beyond.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Engineering, or 4 years of equivalent technical work experience.
• ITIL v4 or ITIL v5 Foundation certification required.
• 5+ years as an engineer or developer in Microsoft’s cloud environment.
• 2+ years as an engineer or developer on Microsoft’s M365 platform.
• Proficiency with PowerShell automation and M365 security capabilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication and leadership skills.
• U.S. Citizenship and a background investigation are required; must have a current clean financial background.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and develop solutions across Microsoft’s M365 platform, including core services and integrations.
• Build, deploy, and support solutions within Microsoft’s cloud environment.
• Administer and enhance M365 online services such as Exchange Online, Teams, and Entra ID.
• Design and implement solutions leveraging Microsoft Graph API for automation, integration, and data access.
• Apply ITIL standards and best practices to maintain a highly available and well‑governed operational environment.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs, specifications, and implementation plans.
• Lead systems engineering activities supporting a large, complex enterprise infrastructure.
• Contribute technical expertise within a managed-services IT environment to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
