Job summary

Q1 Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior M365 Architect to lead the design, implementation, governance, and optimization of Microsoft 365 solutions for enterprise customers.

The role requires deep expertise across Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Exchange Online, Viva, and Power Platform, with a focus on security, compliance, and collaboration. Based onsite in Columbia, SC, you will drive migrations from on-premises Exchange to Exchange Online and from file shares to SharePoint

Qualifications

• Minimum of several years designing and implementing Microsoft 365 ecosystems.
• Experience leading enterprise migrations and modernization programs.
• Strong knowledge of security, compliance, and governance within M365.

We are seeking an experienced Senior M365 Architect to lead the design, implementation, governance, and optimization of Microsoft 365 solutions for enterprise customers. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Microsoft 365 technologies, cloud transformation, security, compliance, and collaboration platforms, while providing strategic guidance to business and technical stakeholders.

• Design end-to-end Microsoft 365 solutions aligned with business and technology objectives.
• Define architecture, roadmap, and governance strategies for Microsoft 365 workloads.
• Lead tenant consolidation, migration, and modernization initiatives.
• Develop scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-based solutions.

Microsoft 365 Platform Expertise

• Architect solutions across:
• Microsoft Teams
• SharePoint Online
• OneDrive for Business
• Exchange Online
• Viva Suite
• Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
• Microsoft Copilot for M365
• Evaluate and recommend new Microsoft technologies and services.

Security & Compliance

• Design security solutions utilizing:
• Conditional Access
• Privileged Identity Management (PIM)
• Microsoft Purview
• Information Protection and Compliance Controls
• Ensure adherence to organizational and regulatory compliance requirements.

Migration & Transformation

• Lead migrations from:
• On-premises Exchange to Exchange Online
• File Shares to SharePoint Online and OneDrive
• Third-party collaboration platforms to Microsoft 365
• Create migration strategies, deployment plans, and risk mitigation approaches.

Stakeholder Management

• Act as a trusted advisor for customers and leadership teams.
• Conduct workshops, architecture reviews, and executive presentations.
• Collaborate with business units, project managers, security teams, and operations teams.

Governance & Operational Excellence

• Establish governance policies, standards, and best practices.
• Define operational models and support strategies.
• Create architecture documentation and technical design documents.
• Mentor engineers and architects across the M365 ecosystem.
