Job summary

Strategic Capacity Group in McLean, VA is seeking a Monitoring And Evaluation Specialist Program Officer for the Knowledge Management team. The role supports design, administration, and implementation of monitoring, evaluation, and learning processes for SCG's global logistics and capacity-building projects.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years' M&E experience on federally funded projects, a master’s degree in a social science, strong data analysis and stakeholder-management skills, and

Qualifications

• Five years minimum of M&E experience on federally funded projects.
• Master's degree in political science, public policy, or related field.
• Ability to independently develop indicators for results-driven M&E.
• Experience with project management activities such as planning, coordination, and stakeholder management.
• Excellent analytic, problem-solving, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.
• Proficiency in databases for analysis and reporting.
• Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
• Experience with proposal writing is highly desirable.
