Job summary

JE Dunn Construction’s Advanced Facilities Group seeks a seasoned M/E Engineer 3 in Nashville, TN to lead commissioning and complex mechanical-electrical field activities on mission-critical projects. You’ll collect data, develop estimates, and perform bid analysis in support of the company’s safety, quality and schedule goals.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or architectural engineering, 5+ years of construction/engineering experience, and a collaborative

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or architectural engineering (or related).
• 5+ years construction/engineering experience preferred.
• Strong reading of plans and specifications; industry standard tools proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Complete increasingly complex mechanical, electrical and field construction activities.
• Develop budgetary M/E estimates from program and schematic design data.
• Review options and perform systems analysis; provide value engineering input.
• Coordinate M/E scopes during the bid process and develop sequencing.
• Create pre-functional checklists and commissioning procedures.
• Mentor less experienced co-workers and promote inclusion.
