Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in Nashville, TN, is seeking a ME Engineer to join the Advanced Facilities Group. You will engage in core mechanical and electrical activities, from safety compliance to field construction support.

You’ll develop budgetary estimates, review options during preconstruction, coordinate with subcontractors, and help drive bid analysis and sequencing for complex projects. This role offers growth within a diverse team working on data center, industrial, and manufacturing projects,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
2+ years construction and/or engineering experience.
Experience with ME systems and coordination on large projects.

Responsibilities

Learns and participates in safety and quality plans and culture.
Completes entry level mechanical, electrical, and field construction activities.
Develops budgetary M/E estimates using automated estimating system.
Assists in bid analysis and subcontractor selection processes.
Develops sequencing requirements for mechanical/electrical systems.
Performs site inspections and prepares constructability reports.
Participates in commissioning including testing procedures.
