Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a T2 M&D Insights Engineer to serve as a seasoned technical contributor responsible for resolving complex diagnostic challenges and supporting proactive fleet monitoring across the Americas.

You will convert operational data into actionable recommendations and collaborate with frontline monitoring engineers, Customer Service Engineering, and regional teams to strengthen diagnostic capability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or another technical discipline.
• 3+ years of experience with generator systems, excitation systems, protection systems, stator and rotor technologies, or generator reliability engineering.

Responsibilities

• Monitor fleet performance, investigate equipment behavior, and develop actionable recommendations that improve customer reliability, availability, and operational outcomes.
• Apply engineering judgment and diagnostic methodologies to resolve complex technical issues and support proactive risk identification across the Americas fleet.
• Serve as a technical resource for monitoring engineers, sharing expertise, coaching diagnostic approaches, and strengthening team capability.
• Partner with Customer Service Engineering, Regional Services, Product Service Engineering, and other technical teams to support customer responsiveness and recommendation closure.
