  • Minimum seven (7) years of progressive experience within the energy industry including renewable energy development, acquisitions, strategic investments, project finance, utilities, independent power producers (IPPs), or renewable energy operating companies
  • Experience working directly with utility-scale renewable development assets, operating assets, or development portfolios is preferred
  • Demonstrated experience supporting transactions from initial screening through diligence, valuation, approval, negotiation, and closing
  • Experience leading or materially supporting renewable energy acquisitions, strategic investments, joint ventures, project development transactions, or project finance activities within the energy sector
  • Advanced financial modeling, valuation, and analytical capabilities, with demonstrated experience evaluating investment opportunities and developing actionable business recommendations
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to develop polished, executive-ready analyses, presentations, and investment materials; experience with Power BI, Think-Cell, or similar business intelligence tools
  • Demonstrated experience leading or materially contributing to acquisition, divestment, joint venture, or strategic investment transactions through valuation, diligence, negotiation, approval, and closing
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex market, commercial, and financial information, identify key risks and opportunities, and recommend strategic paths forward
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to technical, commercial, and executive stakeholders
  • Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across geographically dispersed, cross-functional teams in a fast-paced and evolving environment
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership, intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, and the ability to independently manage multiple priorities and initiatives simultaneously
  • Strategic thinker with a continuous improvement mindset and a demonstrated ability to drive innovation, process enhancements, and scalable business solutions
