Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of corporate transactional experience, focused on M&A.
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school; strong drafting and negotiation skills.
• Active North Carolina license required; ability to manage transactions with increasing independence; client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Structure mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures.
• Lead transactions from initial negotiations through closing.
• Conduct and oversee legal due diligence.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex transaction documents, including asset and stock purchase agreements.
• Coordinate with tax, finance, and executive teams to ensure strategic and regulatory compliance.
• Identify and manage risk throughout the transaction process.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Deliver high-quality client service under tight deadlines.
