Job summary

The role requires a CPA or JD/LLM, 5+ years in a mid-to-large professional services firm, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting or related field required.
• Graduate degree and 4 years of related work experience required.
• CPA or JD/LLM required.

Responsibilities

• Interact with Partners on client and engagement management.
• Model financial transactions for valuation, structuring and negotiation.
• Prepare memoranda and presentations describing client companies and industries.
• Assist review of tax aspects of acquisition and merger agreements.
• Identify tax risks and opportunities while advising on tax strategies for deals.
• Review tax computations in financial models and analyze tax data in projections.
• Data gathering, document review and report preparation.
• Research & financial analysis of target companies.
• Due diligence for buy and sell sides.
• Assist in transaction structuring for tax and accounting issues.
• Provide negotiation support and communicate with business owners.

Education

Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting

Graduate degree with 4+ years experience
