Job summary

Baker Tilly US is expanding its Transaction Services Tax team and seeks a Manager to develop and deliver advisory services for a diverse client base, including private equity and corporate clients. This role offers exposure to valuation, structuring, due diligence, and post-acquisition planning within a broad industry mix.

The position requires CPA or JD/LLM credentials, 2+ years in a professional services firm, and strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of work experience in a mid to large-size professional services firm.
• Tax due diligence, deal structuring and post-acquisition planning experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; client service oriented.
• Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Interact directly with Partners on client and engagement management.
• Model financial transactions for valuation, structuring, and negotiation.
• Prepare memoranda and presentations on client attributes and industries.
• Assist in review and analysis of tax aspects of acquisitions and restructures.
• Identify tax risks and opportunities; advise on tax strategies.
• Review tax computations in financial models and assist in analysis.
• Data gathering, document review and reporting.
• Due diligence for buy-side and sell-side transactions.
• Support transaction structuring for tax and accounting issues.
• Provide negotiation support and client communication to ensure service quality.
