Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a Manager to join our Transaction Services Tax team in any location. You will develop and implement transaction advisory services for complex financial needs across diverse clients, including private equity and corporate entities.

The role involves direct collaboration with Partners, financial modeling, due diligence, tax risk analysis, and client-focused engagement delivery. Open to location, with a broad client base and meaningful, challenging work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field required or graduate degree with 2+ years of related work experience.
• CPA or JD/LLM required; tax due diligence and deal structuring experience preferred.
• Strong written communication and client service skills; attention to ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Interact with Partners on engagement management.
• Model financial transactions for valuation, structuring, and negotiation.
• Prepare memoranda and presentations describing client attributes and industries.
• Review tax aspects of acquisitions and draft tax opinions and memoranda.
• Identify tax risks and opportunities; advise on alternative tax strategies.
• Analyze tax computations in financial models and assist with projections.
• Data gathering, document review, and reports preparation.
• Research & financial analysis of target companies; due diligence for buy/sell side.
• Assist in transaction structuring for tax and accounting issues; provide negotiation support.
