Job summary

Conexus, Irvine-based, is seeking a Manager of Corporate Development/M&A to join a growing deal-focused team. The role offers exposure to the CFO and C-suite, a robust deal pipeline, and mentorship within a public company environment.

Ideal candidates have 3–7 years in corporate development or M&A, strong valuation and modeling skills, and a track record across deal lifecycles. Base salary ranges from $180k to $230k with a 10% annual bonus and RSU eligibility.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of corporate development or M&A experience.
• Strong valuation and financial-modeling capabilities.
• Experience supporting transactions across multiple stages of the deal lifecycle.
• Excellent communication skills and executive presence.
• Investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory, or strategy experience is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Developing and evaluating the acquisition pipeline.
• Building valuation, DCF, merger, LBO, and accretion/dilution models.
• Leading cross-functional due diligence workstreams.
• Assessing strategic fit, risks, synergies, and value-creation opportunities.
• Preparing transaction materials for senior leadership and the Board.
• Supporting deal negotiations, integration planning, and strategic initiatives.
