H1 is shaping the Corp Dev function to own financial strategy, target screening, and due diligence for strategic acquisitions. You will partner with senior leaders and run multi‑disciplinary workstreams to drive value in a fast-paced, data‑driven environment.

The role emphasizes building robust 3-statement models, running scenario analyses, and developing executive‑ready decks for leadership reviews, with direct exposure to the board and strategic planning discussions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
  • 2+ years' experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, or corporate development.
  • Strong financial modeling skills; you can build a model from scratch and defend every assumption.
  • Exceptional attention to detail; you catch the error before it goes to Sr. Leadership.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Intellectually curious; fast and eager learner with ability to be a thought partner.

Responsibilities

  • Build and own first-draft financial models, including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow models with scenario modeling.
  • Maintain and manage the M&A and partnership deal pipeline, keeping records current.
  • Conduct initial screening of inbound and proactively sourced targets for fit and financial profile.
  • Manage workstreams end-to-end, coordinating cross-functional teams (Finance, Legal, HR, Tax, Operations).
  • Prepare screening memos with key facts and recommended next steps for senior review.
  • Build and maintain presentation materials for leadership and board reviews.
