Job summary

SRS Acquiom is hiring a Relationship Associate to manage pre‑closing and post‑closing administration of M&A escrow, payment, and pre‑closing solicitation tasks. You will collaborate with Relationship Managers, outside counsel, and internal teams to onboard appointments and ensure compliance with governing documents.

The role emphasizes client experience, urgency, and meticulous attention to detail as you bridge deal parties with operations and payments teams in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in M&A, banking, or finance.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent education/experience.
• Top-notch customer service and written communication skills.
• Ability to become a subject matter expert in payment processes (ACH/wire, etc.).
• Knowledge of basics of M&A transactions and openness to coaching.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates internally with operations and payments to solicit and distribute proceeds to shareholders.
• Reviews payment spreadsheets and forwards information to internal operations.
• Reviews and finalizes Letters of Transmittal and other solicitation documents.
• Updates deal specifics in the Agent’s internal database.
• Fields inquiries from principals, counsel, and major shareholders.
• Confirms deal documents are accounted for and loaded into the internal database.
• Responsible for tracking all pending and closed transactions.
• Opportunity to accompany the sales team or Relationship Manager on sales meetings.
