Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in New York, NY is seeking an Investment Banking - Mergers & Acquisitions Mid-Cap Associate to participate in the full cycle of transactions, including marketing pitches, financial analysis, and client presentations.

You will work with a large team and may travel frequently. The role requires 3 years of front office investment banking experience or related diligence work, exceptional communication with senior stakeholders, and strong independent work ethic.

Qualifications

• 3 years prior work experience in an investment banking front office role.
• Experience in a relevant role at a top-tier consulting firm (financial, commercial, or operational due diligence).
• Understands transaction cycle and is execution oriented.

Responsibilities

• Develop content for strategic meetings with clients regarding M&A transactions
• Interact with senior team members and client management teams on a daily basis to execute transactions and discuss strategic alternatives
• Defining, guiding and reviewing detailed valuation analysis, including DCF, trading comparables, transaction comparables and LBO analyses
• Defining, guiding and reviewing detailed combination and other financial analyses in the context of M&A transactions or pitch situations
• Provide leadership, mentorship and supervision to Associates and Analysts
• Participate in graduate recruiting
