Job summary

Health Care Service Corporation is seeking a Lead Business Consultant to drive complex integration and transition initiatives across the lifecycle. The role partners with executives and cross-functional teams to deliver value through governance, planning, and execution.

You will develop integration strategies, manage risks, and advance enterprise standards while ensuring readiness and smooth post-transaction outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of experience OR 11 years of experience in project management, business analysis, process improvement, finance, operations, strategic planning or other healthcare function.
• 4 years of experience leading large and complex multi-million-dollar projects.
• Experience in leading, coaching, and mentoring teams and junior resources.
• Ability to influence senior leaders, drive alignment across multiple functions, and coordinate stakeholders without direct authority.
• Strong knowledge of integration management, governance, change, operational readiness, implementation and continuous improvement.
• Experience communicating with senior management and executives; presenting to an executive audience.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end integration, separation, and transition initiatives across lifecycle; include due diligence, planning, execution, Day 1 readiness, TSA, Hypercare, books & records, post-transition activities.
• Establish and manage integration roadmaps, governance structures, program plans, and workstreams; align with deal rationale and timelines.
• Inform, influence, and advise leaders and external partners; facilitate leadership alignment and resolve escalations.
• Develop KPIs, track synergy realization, conduct post-integration evaluations, and advise leadership on improvements.
• Identify risks and dependencies; develop mitigations and resolve cross-functional issues.
• Develop and enhance IMO methodologies, frameworks, standards; mentor team and drive continuous improvements.
