Job summary

Amazon's Corporate Development Integration team seeks an experienced IX Lead to drive adoption of integration activities across mergers and acquisitions, from due diligence through 90–100 days post-close, with a focus on minimizing disruption and accelerating productivity for acquired employees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years developing, negotiating and executing business agreements.
• 6+ years of complex cross-functional change management experience.
• 6+ years of M&A integration experience in a Corporate Development function or management consultancy.
• Experience delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience communicating clearly and concisely with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Apply change management to assess change readiness and tailor enablement strategies based on deal complexity and anticipated change impact.
• Translate functional and business integration activities into people-focused experiences through sequencing, prioritization, and stakeholder engagement.
• Conduct cultural and change readiness assessments during due diligence, translating findings into actionable recommendations for communication, onboarding, and engagement strategies.
• Own the end-to-end employee communication strategy across the integration lifecycle, including newsletters, FAQs, and leader materials.
• Plan and execute Day 1 Orientation events and customized onboarding experiences, including structured onboarding programs and leader onboarding.
• Identify gaps and develop integration strategies to bridge operating norms with Amazon's ways of working.
