Job summary

Dahl Consulting seeks an Account Manager Lead for its Mergers & Acquisitions specialty in the Insurance sector, based in New York, NY with a hybrid work pattern. You will manage a large market book, lead renewals, and guide client pricing strategies within a Private Equity client base.

Responsibilities include client relationship management, presenting marketing materials, and mentoring staff while ensuring accurate agency data and effective collaboration with Producers.Competitive compensation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of 8 years of related insurance industry experience.
• Minimum of 5 years managing a generalist book of business with large market accounts ranging from $500K-$1M in premium per account.
• Active, valid Property & Casualty insurance license.
• Ability to meet ongoing Continuing Education requirements for license renewal.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong planning, organizational, and prioritization abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Foster and manage overall client relationships to ensure retention of a large market book of business and high client satisfaction.
• Support the Producer in developing new business opportunities with existing clients and prospects.
• Lead the renewal process for existing clients, including strategy development and marketing negotiations.
• Analyze current exposures and develop renewal or new business specifications for marketing.
• Negotiate rates and review quotes and coverage for competitiveness and accuracy.
• Independently review policies to determine appropriate coverage and identify potential deficiencies.
• Prepare marketing summaries, proposals, and client-facing presentations in coordination with the Producer.
