Qualifications

• Background research on transaction parties and industries.
• Assess client motivation and the value of the insurance in the deal.
• Review documentation for risk analysis relevant to underwriting.
• Prepare non-binding indications, policies and binder agreements.
• Coordinate with clients, brokers, lawyers and deal professionals.
• Present findings to senior underwriters and management.

Responsibilities

• Support underwriting for transactional insurance related to M&A deals.
• Develop relationships with M&A source producers (brokers, lawyers, PE principals).
• Manage underwriting process with legal counsel as needed.
