Job summary

Synthires is seeking experienced investment banking professionals to support a client project focused on financial data analysis, financial modeling, and industry research. The role involves applying practical investment banking expertise to financial analysis, transaction insights, and expert evaluation.

Strong Excel modeling and valuation skills are required to build and review pitchbooks, perform comps, and assess deal scenarios.

Qualifications

Experience in investment banking, M&A, or financial advisory.
Hands-on acquisition or sale process experience.
Advanced proficiency in Excel-based financial modeling.
Understanding of valuation methodologies and comps.

Responsibilities

Conduct company and industry research to support financial analysis.
Perform buyer and target screening, comparable company analysis, and financial modeling.
Build, update, and troubleshoot Excel-based valuation and transaction models.
Ensure models are accurate and well-structured.
Prepare and review pitchbooks and client-facing transaction materials.
Analyze transaction scenarios and communicate strategic rationale and key deal considerations.
Review financial analyses for numerical accuracy and reasonableness.
Provide actionable feedback to improve analytical quality.
Explain accounting treatments, valuation adjustments, deal sensitivities, and assumptions.
Communicate complex financial concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
