Syntax Talent Solutions is seeking a Investment Banking Associate for an organization specializing in Financial Services. This is an opportunity to gain unparalleled exposure to M&A advisory, capital raising, and strategic advisory services for clients across numerous industries..

OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the development of complex financial models, valuation analyses (DCF, LBO, precedent transactions, and trading comps), and industry research.
• Support the execution of M&A transactions, debt and equity financings, and strategic advisory engagements.
• Assist in drafting investment memoranda, pitch books, and other client presentation materials.
• Conduct due diligence, coordinate with legal and accounting advisors, and manage transaction workstreams.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, senior bankers, and external stakeholders.
• Supervise and mentor Analysts, ensuring accuracy and high-quality deliverables

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2+ years of experience in investment banking or private equity with a strong background in financial analysis and deal execution.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA, CPA, or CFA is a plus.
• Proven expertise in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and deal structuring.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact confidently with clients and senior leadership.
• Exceptional attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases
