Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking a Finance Integration Manager to lead day-to-day pre/post integration of acquired businesses into corporate and segment systems. You will work across Accounting, FP&A, IT, HR, and Contracts to ensure smooth transitions without disrupting close, reporting, cash flow, or programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (or equivalent).
• 8+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or related functions.
• 3+ years leading cross-functional projects/integrations in a matrix environment.
• Experience leading program controls in Aerospace and Defense.
• Experience with mergers & acquisitions integration or finance transformation.
• Strong understanding of finance processes, internal controls, and policy compliance.
• Experience with ERP/financial planning systems (Oracle, Hyperion, SAP, Costpoint, Unanet).

Responsibilities

• Lead the finance integration workstream for acquisitions, incl. planning, execution, tracking, and issue resolution.
• Develop and maintain acquisition integration plans, milestones, and governance.
• Coordinate with Accounting, FP&A, Program Finance, Tax, Treasury, Contracts, HR, IT, and Operations.
• Support transition of acquired entities into ERP, consolidation, planning, and reporting environments.
• Document end-to-end finance processes, control narratives, templates, and roles.
• Identify gaps relative to corporate standards and drive remediation plans.
• Establish and monitor internal controls supporting accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness.
• Standardize finance methodologies, templates, and toolkits across the segment.
• Facilitate walkthroughs and training for new systems, processes, and compliance.
• Track integration risks, open items, and key decisions; escalate as needed.
• Assist audit requests by organizing documentation and coordinating responses.
• Capture lessons learned and refine acquisition integration playbook for future deals.
• Provide status updates, metrics, and analyses on progress and control compliance.
• Perform other duties to support finance operations and integration priorities.
