Western Veterinary Partners is seeking a highly qualified M&A Diligence Analyst to support the Corporate Development team with financial due diligence. You will focus on QofE, pro forma earnings, cash flows, and lender-supported data for acquisitions.

You will build financial models, investment memorandums, and purchase price structures while coordinating with hospital owners and sell-side advisors to evaluate targets in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• 1-3 years in public accounting, FP&A, or a similar accounting-focused role.
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large, unstructured data sets.
• Strong attention to detail and understanding of accounting concepts.
• Ability to manage multiple live deals at once and keep each one's status straight against hard deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Own the preparation of a QofE databook, including proof of cash analysis, to evaluate a potential target hospital’s pro forma earnings, historical cash flows, and overall reliability of past financial results.
• Build financial models and investment memorandums to assess new investment opportunities, perform valuation analyses, and create purchase price/ acquisition structures.
• Work with Corporate Development, hospital owners, and sell-side advisors to collect and analyze transaction level detail.
• Communicate financial risks, opportunities and results to stakeholders in the due diligence process.
