Job summary

Western Veterinary Partners in Denver, CO is seeking an M&A Diligence Analyst to support the Corporate Development team in financial due diligence, QofE, modeling, and deal structuring for target acquisitions. Responsibilities

• Build financial models and investment memorandums to help the Corporate Development team assess new investment opportunities, perform valuation analyses, and create various purchase price / acquisition structures for potential targets.
• Work directly with the Corporate Development team, hospital owner (or owners), and sell-side advisors to collect and analyze a target hospital’s transaction level detail.
• Clearly communicate financial risks, opportunities and results to the Corporate Development team and other key stakeholders involved in the due diligence process.

We are expanding our team and seeking a highly qualified M&A Diligence Analyst who will support the Corporate Development team with our financial due diligence process. This role will be a critical component of our broader due diligence process and will report directly to the Director of M&A Diligence. Qualified candidates should demonstrate knowledge of accounting principles, a passion for performing financial analyses, excellent communication and organizational skills, and a positive attitude and desire to learn from others in a fast paced environment.

How You Will Spend Your Time

Roughly half of this role is quality of earnings (QofE) and financial due diligence — building the QofE databook, proof of cash, and payroll reconciliation that our lender relies on for every acquisition. The remaining half of your time will be spent supporting our Corporate Development team on front-end modeling, valuation, and purchase price structuring for targets we are evaluating. You'll see a deal from the first model through closing.

Preferred Qualifications

Our salary ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. The compensation range for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 annually plus bonus. The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The Company offers competitive compensation along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision benefits, vacation, sick leave, 401(k), and more depending on location.
