McCormick & Company, Incorporated is seeking an Associate General Counsel – Mergers & Acquisitions / Transactions in Hunt Valley, MD,Hybrid (50/50). This role leads strategic transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and minority investments, while advising on governance and integration.

You will coordinate with senior leadership across a multinational organization, manage external counsel, and structure complex deals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and bar admission in good standing.
• 4–6 years of relevant legal experience with significant M&A and corporate transactions.
• Strong working knowledge of corporate governance matters.
• Experience with cross-border transactions and managing international counsel preferred.
• Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex matters simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Lead legal execution of domestic and international acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, minority investments, and strategic partnerships.
• Oversee transaction lifecycle from structuring and diligence through negotiation, signing, closing, and post-closing integration.
