Job summary

Trilon is seeking a Corporate Development Analyst to join the execution side of its M&A team in Downtown Denver. The Analyst will work alongside senior deal leaders across the full transaction lifecycle, from initial evaluation through diligence, closing, and integration.

This hands-on role provides mentorship from investors and operators, exposure to the executive team, and a clear path to greater deal ownership as you contribute to analysis, modeling, and deal support.

Qualifications

• Experience with financial statement analysis, financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, or M&A transaction execution.
• Strong oral and written communications skills required
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills required
• Sound strategic and critical thinking skills required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Excel and PowerPoint
• Working knowledge of finance and M&A transaction concepts

Responsibilities

• Support transaction execution from initial evaluation through diligence, negotiation, closing, and integration.
• Build and maintain financial models, valuation analyses, and other materials used to assess investment opportunities.
• Analyze financial, employee, client, project, and operational data to identify performance drivers, risks, and areas for further diligence.
• Develop investment theses and draft clear recommendations and materials for Trilon's Investment Committee and senior leadership.
• Coordinate due diligence workstreams and collaborate with legal, accounting, tax, and other third-party advisors.
• Prepare presentations and discussion materials for meetings with potential partner firms and internal stakeholders.
• Work closely with Corporate Development Vice Presidents and other senior leaders on active deals and strategic projects.
• Take on increasing ownership over time, including managing service providers, leading defined workstreams, and supporting relationships with sellers.
