Crossing Hurdles is seeking an Investment Banking & M&A Expert for a remote contract role. The position involves building realistic transaction environments with financial data, performing valuation analyses, and preparing CIMs and pitch books for live deals.

• Experience using agentic AI tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or Claude Cowork for substantive work.

Type: Contract

Compensation: $60-120/hr

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week

• Design multi-step tasks involving valuation, comparable-company analysis, financial modeling, and sell-side advisory.
• Use agentic AI tools to develop and review CIMs, pitch books, valuation models, and supporting deliverables.
• Turn live-deal workflows into realistic scenarios, supporting files, and client-facing deliverables.
• Verify the quality of materials developed with AI agents.

Requirements

• Have strong relevant experience in investment banking, M&A, or sell-side advisory.
• Hands-on experience building valuation models, comparable-company analyses, CIMs, pitch books, and client-facing materials for live deals.
• Hands-on experience using agentic AI tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or Claude Cowork for substantive work.
• Corporate carve-out experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience at a top-tier investment bank or M&A advisory firm is preferred.
