Job summary

Abacus is seeking a skilled IT migration engineer to manage tenant-to-tenant migrations for M365 and Exchange, consolidating mailboxes and Teams while ensuring data integrity. You will also migrate SharePoint sites and OneDrive storage into central structures, maintaining permissions and access controls during the transition.

The role emphasizes collaboration across teams, to minimize downtime during migrations and support the broader Abacus cloud environment.

Qualifications

• Experience migrating Microsoft 365 tenants and Exchange migrations.
• Consolidate mailboxes, distribution groups, shared mailboxes, and Teams setups.
• Strong understanding of identity tools and migration workflows.
• Willingness to work evenings or weekends during migration windows.
• Excellent communication for stakeholder alignment.

Responsibilities

• Execute tenant-to-tenant migrations focusing on M365/Exchange.
• Migrate SharePoint sites, OneDrive storage, and legacy file shares into central data structures.
• Ensure data integrity, permissions, and access controls remain intact post-migration.
• Collaborate with Abacus teams to minimize downtime during migrations.
