Job summary

Boutique Recruiting is seeking an Investment Banking Associate in the United States to support and increasingly lead M&A transactions across the full deal lifecycle. You will focus on technology, defense, cybersecurity, AI, and other emerging sectors, leveraging AI in workflows.

The role requires 3–4 years of M&A or investment banking experience with a technology-forward mindset and entrepreneurial drive. DOE salary is $95k–$120k.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of M&A or investment banking experience.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence skills.
• Technology-forward with ability to leverage AI in workflows.
• Proven client-facing communication and relationship-building.
• Experience with Bloomberg and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Support and progressively manage M&A transactions across the full deal lifecycle.
• Build financial models and conduct transaction-related research.
• Manage the M&A pipeline and client activity in Salesforce and other CRMs.
• Engage with buyers, sellers, investors, and banking counterparts.
• Prepare materials, capture meeting notes, and support deal execution.
• Develop strategic recommendations for buy-side and sell-side clients.
• Leverage AI to improve research and transaction workflows.
• Participate in outbound business development and relationship-building.
• Help scale the platform as the practice grows.
