Morrison Foerster is seeking a high-performing attorney with 2–6 years of mergers and acquisitions experience for our New York office. The role involves handling domestic and cross-border transactions on both buy- and sell-side, with a focus on complex structuring and strategic considerations.

Strong communication, research, and analytical skills are essential, as is a commitment to client service within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of significant experience in mergers & acquisitions and other strategic transactions.
• Experience handling domestic and cross-border transactions, buy- and sell-side.
• Solid understanding of complex structural and corporate issues in acquisitions, divestitures, strategic alliances, spin-offs, carve-outs, LBOs, recapitalization, and tender offers.
• Ability to concisely communicate complex matters in oral and written form; outstanding research and analytical skills.
• Excellent business and legal problem-solving skills with commitment to delivering client service in a team.
• Strong work ethic, leadership, and willingness to take on increasing responsibility.
• Bar admission in the state where practicing or eligible to waive.
