Job summary

FirstCall Mechanical Group in Austin, TX is seeking an Accounting Manager to support the integration of new partners during the first 90-100 days post-acquisition. The role reports to the Integration Controller and leads US GAAP monthly reporting, journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.

You will coordinate with vendors on Purchase Price Accounting and Quality of Earnings rollforward, maintain accounting controls, guide office administration, and drive finance process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 7+ years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
• Deep understanding of financial close process including journal entries, reconciliation schedules and financial statement package.
• Deep understanding of percentage of completion (ASC 606) accounting.

Responsibilities

• Monthly financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP, including all journal entries, accruals and balance sheet reconciliation schedules.
• Communication with 3rd party vendors on the Purchase Price Accounting and Quality of Earnings rollforward.
• Maintaining proper accounting procedures and controls and related documentation.
• Working with office administration team and providing accounting guidance.
• Implementing process improvements in the finance functions.
