Job summary

Randstad USA in Carlsbad, CA is seeking a Manufacturing Technician II - Lyophilization for a 100% on-site, temporary-to-hire role. You will execute lyophilization and formulation workflows per cGMP, maintain cleanrooms, and ensure production stays on schedule.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and hands-on lyophilization experience; a Bachelor's degree is preferred, with 2+ years in biomanufacturing a plus. Flexible shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Hands-on lyophilization technology and formulation procedures.
• Experience with lyophilization and formulation in a bioprocess setting.

Responsibilities

• Execute lyophilization processing, formulation, and cleanroom manufacturing per cGMP/GDP guidelines.
• Confirm receipt and preparation of raw materials to keep production on schedule.
• Maintain, stock, and sanitize designated cleanroom environments to support operations.
• Troubleshoot SOPs, initiate minor document revisions, and escalate issues promptly.
• Coordinate shift handoffs and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet site goals.
