Job summary

Aceable is seeking an LX Audio Producer to create narration for online courses using AI voice tools and human talent where needed. You will define Aceable's sound—brand tone, pronunciation, and technical quality—and build automated workflows to keep courses current as content changes.

You will collaborate with LX content managers, designers, and motion specialists to align narration with course builds, while partnering with the Automations team to optimize pipelines.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional audio production in e-learning, audiobook, or related field.
• Experience with AI voice generation tools and human voice talent coordination.
• Proven ability to automate audio workflows and manage large media libraries.
• Experience using DAWs for editing, noise reduction, and mastering to spec.
• Ability to communicate with non-technical partners and translate changes into production plans.

Responsibilities

• Run voiceover production for new course builds, including script prep, AI generation or recording, editing, mastering, and delivery.
• Own end-to-end audio workflows and build automations to reduce bottlenecks and turnaround time.

Job description

Aceable is looking for an LX Audio Producer to produce the narration and audio learning content in our online courses. Reporting to the Manager, LX Visual Communications, you will generate most of that audio with AI voice tools and direct the human voice talent we use where AI isn’t the right fit. You will also set and maintain the standard for how Aceable sounds: brand tone, pronunciation, and technical quality. Every file meets that bar before a student hears it. Producing great audio is half the job. The other half is building and improving the automated workflows that get it made, deployed, and kept current as courses change.

You will work closely with LX content managers, visual designers, and motion specialists to keep narration aligned with course builds and regulatory updates, and partner with our Automations team where the pipeline connects to shared systems.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Run voiceover production for new course builds and updates, including script preparation and pronunciation review, AI generation or recording, editing, mastering, final delivery, and the documentation of the entire process
• Own the audio workflow end to end, from script to deployed file: identifying manual bottlenecks, then building, testing, and maintaining automations that reduce manual effort and turnaround time without sacrificing quality (all in partnership with the Automations team)
• Direct voice artists (when necessary), including booking sessions, providing direction, and ensuring final audio meets standards
• Manage the voice models and settings that keep narration consistent across each vertical's catalog, and evaluate new voices and tools against our quality bar before they reach production
• Decide how each voiceover request should be produced based on quality, turnaround time, and cost
• Establish and maintain audio standards, including generation and recording specifications, delivery requirements, documented workflows, and the pronunciation library that keeps regulated, legal, and location-specific terminology correct across every course and every voice
• Manage our audio asset library so files are organized, versioned, traceable, and easy to locate or update as course content changes
• Load and configure audio assets in our proprietary learning management system, mapping each file to the correct course and chapter, and automate that deployment wherever it can be
• Develop and run an audio QA system that ensures review before courses are published to verify narration is accurate and aligned with course content. Investigate and resolve audio issues identified after launch.
• Partner with LX content managers to track content changes that require updated audio, prioritize revisions against course schedules, and keep narration in sync with live course content, maintaining and extending the tooling that flags drift so it is caught automatically rather than by hand
• Forecast voiceover capacity against the course production calendar and surface volume risk early to help make sure all workstreams stay on schedule

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• 4+ years of professional audio production experience in e-learning, audiobook, podcast, broadcast, or a comparable narration-heavy environment
• Hands‑on experience with and enthusiasm for AI voice generation tools (e.g., ElevenLabs)
• Hands‑on experience using workflow automation platforms (e.g., n8n, Zapier) or scripting for batch media processing, with the judgment to know what should and should not be automated
• Demonstrated expertise in a professional DAW (e.g., Pro Tools, Adobe Audition, Logic, Reaper), including editing, noise reduction, restoration, and mastering to a delivery spec
• Experience producing long‑form narration through recording, voice direction, or generation, with the ear to keep a narrator consistent across hundreds of pages of content
• Sound production judgment and the ability to determine when to use AI generation, live talent, existing audio, pickups, or full re‑records
• Experience managing and maintaining a large audio or media library, including file organization, version control, and ongoing updates
• Ability to communicate effectively with non‑technical partners, such as writers, designers, and stakeholders, and to translate content changes into a production plan

BONUS POINTS

• Working knowledge of After Effects or video production
• Experience in e-learning, edtech, or regulated industries where content accuracy is audited
• Experience building production standards or workflows for a team
• Familiarity with project tracking tools such as Jira
• Comfort working inside a content management system or learning platform to place, configure, and verify media assets
