Job summary

FullShift Staffing, LLC is seeking an LVN/LPN to provide nursing care within scope of practice and in accordance with standards, physician orders, and center policies. The role requires current licensure, BLS/CPR, and prior long-term care experience.

Responsibilities include charting, incident reporting, narcotics control, and patient condition documentation. Rounds with physicians may be required. Equal employment opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in long-term care settings.
• Proficient with PointClickCare charting software.
• Active LVN/LPN license in the practicing state.
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Nursing management experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follow procedures for charting and incident reporting.
• Adhere to narcotics counting, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction procedures.
• Document changes in patient conditions (nutrition, infections, skin issues, weight loss, etc.).
• Use the Quality Life Manual to identify, place, and monitor patients in programs.
• Document and notify departments of room changes, LOA, admits, or discharges.
• Make rounds with physicians when necessary.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Provides nursing care within scope of practice to ensure patient’s needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies as well as state, federal and local guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Long Term Care experience


• Point click care charting experience


• Current LVN/LPN license in practicing state.


• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to acquire one.


• Experience in nursing management is preferred but not required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follows established procedure for charting and incident reporting.


• Follows company procedures for narcotic counting, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction.


• Documents any change in patient's conditions including but not limited to nutritional problems, infections, skin conditions, weight loss or any other noticeable changes.


• Utilizes the Quality Life Manual for identification, placement, and monitoring of patients in the appropriate programs.


• Document and notify applicable departments of any patient's room changes, LOA, new admits, or discharges.


• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.
