Job summary

FullShift Staffing, LLC is seeking a licensed LVN/LPN to provide nursing care in a long-term care setting. The role requires experience with PointClickCare charting, a current CA LVN/LPN license, and BLS/CPR or willingness to obtain it.

The successful candidate will follow established charting and incident reporting procedures, manage narcotic counts, and monitor patient changes. Rounds with physicians may be required; the position supports resident well-being and quality of life initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year in Long Term Care setting.
• Experience with PointClickCare charting system.
• Active LVN/LPN license in CA.
• BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Follows established procedure for charting and incident reporting.
• Follows company procedures for narcotic counting, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction.
• Documents any change in patient's conditions including nutritional problems, infections, skin conditions, weight loss or any other noticeable changes.
• Utilizes the Quality Life Manual for identification, placement, and monitoring of patients in the appropriate programs.
• Document and notify applicable departments of any patient's room changes, LOA, new admits, or discharges.
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Provides nursing care within scope of practice to ensure patient’s needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies as well as state, federal and local guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Long Term Care experience


• Point click care charting experience


• Current LVN/LPN license in practicing state.


• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to acquire one.


• Experience in nursing management is preferred but not required.
