Job summary

Seacrest Village in Encinitas, CA, is looking for an LVN to join our care team on the PM shift. You will oversee resident documentation, coordinate staff, and ensure safe medication administration within DSS regulations.

The role requires LVN licensure, BLS, food handlers certification, and fingerprint clearance. You will engage with families and physicians to support dignified, quality care in a warm environment.

Qualifications

• Be LVN licensed and pass TB test.
• Fingerprint clearance as required by licensure.
• BLS certification and food handling certification.
• Experience with medication administration and safety procedures.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee resident documentation and ensure accurate records, including care plans and physician orders.
• Assist in scheduling, training, and supervision of staff to ensure quality care.
• Manage medication administration and treatment processes in compliance with regulations.
• Respond to emergency calls and reassess resident conditions.
• Assist with admissions and re-admissions, including medical records setup.
• Monitor quality assurance efforts and infection control procedures.
• Maintain clear communication with families, physicians, and staff regarding resident care.
