Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in Cypress, TX to apply the nursing process and deliver patient care under supervision. The LVN must hold a current LVN license and comply with required health certificates and documentation.

Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care, conducting focused interviews, and documenting patient data. Training is provided for tracheostomy care and ventilator management to support skilled nursing delivery.

Qualifications

• Current LVN license in the state where the LVN practices.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior LVN experience preferred.

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Performs focused interview to identify specific patient needs.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.

Salary: $26 - $32 / per hour

Maxim Healthcare is looking for a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to assume responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care, under the supervision of a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN). The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) will consistently perform according to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care.
