Job summary

Peninsula Post-Acute is seeking a compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our part-time, on-call nursing team in Burlingame, CA. Shifts are Thursday through Saturday, with AM and PM options. Pay ranges from $43.00 to $46.00 per hour, depending on experience.

The role focuses on rehabilitative post-acute care in a supportive, interdisciplinary environment. We value clinical excellence and residents’ rehabilitation goals, with opportunities for growth within our clinical team.

Qualifications

• Current California LVN license in good standing.
• Experience in skilled nursing, post-acute, rehabilitation, or sub-acute setting preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care per physician orders, care plans, and policies.
• Monitor residents' conditions and escalate changes to the care team.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
• Document nursing care and resident progress timely and accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nursing staff, residents, and families.
• Respond to resident needs while promoting comfort, dignity, and safety.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and infection prevention practices.
