Peninsula Post-Acute in Burlingame, CA is seeking a compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our rehabilitation-focused team on a part-time, on-call basis.

You will provide direct nursing care, monitor residents, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and families to support residents’ recovery and independence in a supportive, team-oriented environment. This role offers competitive pay and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Current California LVN license in good standing.
• Experience in skilled nursing, post-acute, rehabilitation, or sub-acute settings preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care per physician orders, care plans, and facility policies.
• Monitor residents' conditions and promptly communicate changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation of nursing care and resident progress.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nursing staff, residents, and families to support quality outcomes.
• Respond appropriately to resident needs while promoting comfort, dignity, and safety.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and infection prevention practices.
